We keep a mineral block in the back yard for the deer and other animals. A White-tailed Deer (Odocoileus virginianus) is pictured having a taste. This species has tremendous genetic variation, and it has a very wide range; it can be found from British Columbia through Central America and as far south as Peru. White-tailed deer have been introduced to some European Countries, including The Czech Republic and Finland. Quite remarkable creatures…but it is difficult to appreciate them after they have just eaten all your vegetable garden plants and flowers!
Awwww! Love the deer but I do understand that there are too many & have to be culled, but not MY deer, please.
