The corner of our lot has some sizable oak trees. I recently went down there to inspect them. Here I am standing next to one. The acorn crop was heavy this year, and one had to be careful not to get beaned. Here I am inspecting one of the smaller ones, really impressive…you should see the squirrels that eat them.

Luckily there are some smaller oaks up near to my house. I was able to put on a cap from one of these more normal sized trees.
