Imagine our surprise when we looked out of the kitchen window today and saw this creature. We thought that all of these thad been wiped out by the giant meteorite that hit the Yucatan 65 million years ago! And I thought it was armadillos that were rooting up the leaves around the bird feeder! Maybe it won’t be fond of sunflower seeds; we have enough trouble keeping the goldfinches and chickadees supplied.
